DENTISTRY PROGRAM
CURRICULUM STRUCTURE
General overview
Eligibility for enrollment
1. Foreign citizens with a valid passport
2. High school graduates or above (12 year), meeting the academic requirements of the applied major.
3. In good physical and mental health, be over 18 years old and under 40 years old at the time of admission.
4. Eligibility certificate issued by Medical (Medical &Dental) Council or other authorized agency of the country applicant belongs to (if applicable).
5. High school marks in Chemistry, Biology and English above 60 points each
Duration of the program - 5 years
Type - Full-time program
Academic year structure - Two-semester system of academic year
Degree – Dentist (analogue of MD program, higher than MBBS)
Credit system
Each credit equals to 36 academic hours
1 academic hour equals to 45 minutes
Study regimen not less than 1 credits per week (36 hours)
Academic year - 60 credits
All course – 300 credits

1. Basic science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology etc.)
2. Humanitarian Studies (History, Philosophy, History of medicine, Psychology and pedagogy)
3. Language courses (Latin language, Russian language)
4. Pre-clinical Subjects (Propaedeutics of dental diseases, Surgical Dentistry, Therapeutic Dentistry, Orthopedic Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry)
5. Clinical subjects
· Basic course (Propaedeutics of dental diseases, Introduction to the Specialty)
· Advanced course (Orthopedic Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry)
· Special clinical courses (TB)
6. Practical placements or clerkships (after 1-5 academic year)
7. Simulation-based training module
8. State Final Examination (MCQ, Practical Skills, Case Scenario, Oral Exam)
