History of the Department of Surgical Diseases
/ The Department of Surgical Diseases is an educational and scientific structural unit of the State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education of the Bashkortostan State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. It was founded in 2003 on the basis of City Clinical Hospital No. 8, which was headed by the Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor A.G. Khasanov. Students of pediatric, dental faculties are trained at the department according to the curriculum "General Surgery" and "Surgical Diseases".
Regulations on the department.pdf HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT The Department of Surgical Diseases was established in 2003. The founder and first head of the department is an outstanding scientist - surgeon, doctor of medical sciences, professor, honored scientist of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus Khasanov Anvar Giniyatovich. The department was located on the basis of the City Clinical Hospital No. 8, later the City Clinical Hospital No. 13 entered the clinical bases of the department. At the department, teaching activities were carried out among students of pediatrics.
The teaching staff of the department for work with students includes: Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor A.G. Khasanov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor M.A. Nurtdinov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor A.R. Gilmutdinov, Dean of the Faculty of Pediatrics, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor I.F. Sufiyarov; Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor R.E. Shamsiev, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor D.G. Shaibakov, Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor A.F. Badretdinov, Doctor of Medical Sciences Gallyamov Aidar Khamitovich, Associate Professor Bakirov S.Kh. and others.
Educational and methodical activities
Discipline – "General Surgery", "Faculty Surgery" and "Surgical Diseases" Specialty – 31.05.02 Pediatrics, Dentistry – 31.05.03 Students of the Pediatric and Dental Faculties Courses 2, 3, 4. The educational process at the department is organized in accordance with the standard work program for "General Surgery" and "Surgical Diseases" by the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education (FSES-3) (Moscow, 2015). The department carries out educational and methodological activities in the disciplines assigned to it, in accordance with the "Concept of development of the Bashkir State Medical University for 2008 - 2013."
In addition to training rooms, there are conference rooms for lecturing in the blades. At all clinical bases there are modernly equipped surgical departments To ensure control of the initial and final level of knowledge in the educational process, training and control programs are used. Illustrated interactive albums on flexible endoscopy have been created, there is a catalog of videos on general, faculty and hospital surgery.
The staff of the department developed complete educational and methodological complexes in the specialty "Pediatrics" and "Dentistry" for students of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th courses of the pediatric and dental faculties, created educational and methodological complexes for internship in the specialty "Surgery", for practical training for 3rd year students. At the final stage of development, there are educational and methodological complexes in accordance with the standard of the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education. The department has created and improved lectures in the form of multimedia presentations, multimedia atlases on topics, developed and implemented video films, multimedia tasks. Sets of diagnostic tests to test practical skills, business games, seminars-rounds, seminars-conferences, tests for the development of practical skills are used. Educational and methodological manuals for students "Specific surgical infection", "Antibiotic therapy in surgery", "Lectures on faculty surgery" have been prepared
At the Department of Surgical Diseases, much attention is paid to the organization and conduct of research work.
The research work of the department over the past 5 years has been devoted to the study of the problem of surgical gastroenterology, including occupational pathological aspects, endoscopy, endosurgery, minimally invasive surgery. In addition, the issues of emergency surgery and injuries of the abdominal organs, purulent surgery, laser surgery and plasma technologies, rare diseases in abdominal surgery, mammology are being developed, and recently the influence and assessment of biological age in the treatment of diseases of the abdominal organs have been actively studied.
Since the beginning of the creation of the department, in 2003, 4 doctoral and 23 master's theses have been defended. Copyright certificates for more than 25 inventions and utility models and 50 rationalization proposals have been obtained. In recent years, about 150 scientific papers have been published in the central and local press. 14 monographs, 7 textbooks and guidelines have been published. Employees of the department regularly make scientific reports at meetings of the Association of Surgeons of the Republic of Belarus, conferences of the republican and interregional levels. The results of scientific research are actively published in the Higher Attestation Commission, peer-reviewed journals, collections of BSMU and other printed publications.
At the Department of Surgical Diseases, a scientific circle is actively working, which unites students of the 3rd, 4th and 5th courses of the Faculty of Pediatrics. It should be noted that in recent years, an increasing number of students have shown an active interest in research work on surgery. During the academic year, meetings of the circle are held regularly (1 time per month) according to the approved work plan. Students prepare reports on the issues discussed, presenting them in the form of multimedia presentations.
At the annual final student scientific conferences, scientific student works are presented in the form of reports. The works of the MNC of the Department of Surgical Diseases were repeatedly heard at the Republican Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists with International Participation "Issues of Theoretical and Practical Medicine". The results of student research are published in the collections of BSMU and other printed publications, as well as in peer-reviewed universities. Applications for patents for inventions have been filed.
