EDUCATIONAL AND METHODOLOGICAL ACTIVITIES

At the Department of Faculty Therapy, students are trained in Federal state educational standards of higher education (FSES HE) and Federal state educational standards of higher education ++ (FSES HE ++).

According to the Federal State Educational Standard of higher education in the specialty 31.05.02 Pediatrics (2020), 4th-year students are being trained in the discipline "Faculty therapy";

according to the Federal State Educational Standard of higher education ++ in specialty 31.05.02 Pediatrics (2020), students of the 2nd - 3rd course in the discipline "Propaedeutics of internal diseases" are being trained;

according to the Federal State Educational Standard of higher education ++ in specialty 31.05.03 Dentistry (2020), 3rd-year students are being trained in the discipline "Internal Diseases";

according to the Federal State Educational Standard of higher education ++ in specialty 31.05.01 General Medicine (2020), 3rd-year students are being trained in the internship "Diagnostic profile practice";

according to the Federal State Educational Standard of higher education in the specialty 31.08.49 Therapy (2014), training of highly qualified personnel in residency is carried out;

according to the Federal State Educational Standard of higher education in the specialty 31.08.43 Nephrology (2022), highly qualified personnel are trained in residency.

Upon completion of training in the disciplines "Faculty therapy", "Propaedeutics of internal diseases", "Internal diseases", an intermediate certification of students is conducted in the form of an exam.

Upon completion of training in the residency, the State final certification of students is carried out.

At the Department of the discipline "Internal Diseases", according to the specialty program, taking into account the current the Federal State Educational Standard of higher education ++, foreign citizens who study using an intermediary language (English) are trained. The work programs of the discipline and educational and methodological materials, educational, clinical and internship practice have been translated into English and posted on the educational portal of the department.

Assessment materials of the current and intermediate control of students' knowledge are focused on general professional and professional competencies formed during the study of the disciplines "Faculty therapy", "Propaedeutics of internal diseases", "Internal diseases" and related work functions of a graduate in the direction of pediatrician training, taking into account the professional standard "District pediatrician" (2020), a graduate in the field of dentist training taking into account the professional standard "Dentist" (2020), a specialist therapist taking into account the professional standard " General practitioner " (2014) and a specialist nephrologist taking into account the professional standard "Nephrologist" (2022).

EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES AT THE DEPARTMENT ARE CARRIED OUT:

POINT-RATING SYSTEM FOR ASSESSING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION

Assessment of the quality of mastering the academic disciplines "Faculty therapy", "Propaedeutics of internal diseases", "Internal diseases", residency in the specialties "Therapy" and "Nephrology" is carried out with the help of ongoing monitoring of academic performance and intermediate certification of students upon completion of the study of disciplines, residency. To carry out the current monitoring of academic performance and intermediate certification, a point-rating system for assessing the quality of education is used, based on a step-by-step assessment of various types of activities performed by students in the process of mastering academic disciplines with the determination of its overall rating by the sum of accumulated points, taking into account the accepted evaluation coefficients of various types of educational activities.

Testing, as the first stage of intermediate certification of students, is carried out on-line on the educational portal of the department.

25 educational films have been created and are being used for educational purposes.

INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES

• Lectures with multimedia projection for students in the specialties of Pediatrics and Dentistry have been created and updated annually.

• A controlling electronic program "FACTER" has been created for intermediate control of the knowledge of students in the specialties of Pediatrics, Dentistry, residents in the specialty of Therapy and Nephrology.   

• 12 training and control computer programs, audio materials, multimedia atlases and other didactic materials are used in the educational process.

• 25 educational videos have been created and are being used for educational purposes.

• Testing, as the first stage of intermediate certification of students in the specialties of Pediatrics and Dentistry, is carried out on-line on the educational portal of the department.

     In the conditions of preventing a new coronarovirus infection COVID-19, according to the order of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation No. 224-u dated 17.03.2020, a special regime of visiting contact classes was introduced at the department. According to epidemiological indications, according to the order of the BSMU Rector's office, the educational process is fully or partially transferred to an electronic information and educational environment using distance learning technologies, including using the communication capabilities of the Microsoft Teams corporate platform for PCs and mobile devices when lecturing and conducting practical classes when combined with traditional full-time training (work in a mixed format).. WhatsApp Messenger and e-mail are used as additional innovative technologies for operational contacts with students.

     Taking into account the epidemiological situation of COVID-19, the program issues of the discipline and the module "Faculty therapy" include the main issues of the clinic, diagnosis and prevention of a new coronavirus infection.

     In the educational process of training residents for epidemiological indications, according to the directive documents of the rector's office and the BSMU residency department, an unscheduled industrial practice in therapy in medical organizations of Ufa and the Republic of Bashkortostan (field) as an assistant to the district doctor of the polyclinic, a trainee doctor of the covid hospital, etc. is included in the educational process of training residents for epidemiological indications.

       Since 2015, the staff of the department has been participating in the academic mobility program.

     In the 2015-2016 academic year, students of the 4th year in the specialty "General Medicine" of the Karaganda State Medical University were trained in the framework of academic mobility in the amount of 405 hours. The Russian-Kazakh student educational conference "Topical issues of internal diseases" was held with the participation of students of KSMU and BSMU. For a clear organization of work on the academic mobility program in the 2015-2016 academic year, the staff of the Department of Faculty Therapy of BSMU received a letter of thanks from the rector of KSMU, Professor R.S. Dosmagambetova (incoming No. 1754E).

     Associate Professor of the Department of Faculty Therapy Maksutova L.F. in 2016 worked at the Department of Internal Diseases No. 2 of the NAO "Medical University of Karaganda". She completed 60 hours of practical classes and 4 hours of lectures for students in the discipline "Internal Diseases" in the specialty "General Medicine", conducted master classes on the topic "Chronic heart failure" for teachers and interns of the department.

     In 2019, together with the NPJSC "Medical University of Karaganda", an international student scientific and educational teleconference was held on the topic "Topical issues of therapy 2019". There is a letter of thanks from the rector of KSMU.

      As part of the academic mobility program, from March 12 to March 18, 2021, Professor of the Department of Faculty Therapy of Bashkir State Medical University Mavzyutova Guzel Anvarovna at the Department of Internal Diseases of the NAO "Medical University of Karaganda" conducted distance learning for students of group 4-052 of the specialty "General Medicine" in the discipline "Differential diagnosis and principles of therapy for diseases of the circulatory system".

The online presentation format was highly appreciated by students and interns of the specialty "General Medicine". The students highly appreciated the lecture and practical materials provided during the seminars, as well as explanations to the questions of interest. The indispensable feedback on completed tasks contributed to the competent assimilation of the material. It is important that students acquire ECG reading skills, which is the basis for their further practice.   The experience and knowledge gained will help you achieve success in your future profession.

      On April 5, 2018, the first intramural Olympiad of BSMU on faculty therapy took place. The 4th and 5th year students of the medical faculty took part in the competition. 5 national teams competed with each other in erudition, depth of knowledge of internal medicine, creativity and ability to work as a team. To the jury, consisting of employees of the Department of faculty therapy and administration of SBIH RB ССH No. 5. Ufa, under the chairmanship of the head of the department, Professor Mirsaeva G.H., video materials prepared by students in advance were taken out. The final stage was a speech by the team captains about how they see the medicine of the future. All participants of the event noted the friendly atmosphere that prevailed in the hall, created by the speaker and ideological inspirer of the Olympiad, Associate professor Amineva L.H., members of the organizing committee (assistant Mironchuk N.N., students of the 6th year of the Faculty of Medicine Zakarina A. A. and Gilemzyanova L.I.) and the jury of the competition.

     The successful experience of the first Olympiad and the great interest of students in participating in it contributed to the organization and holding of intra-university Olympiads on faculty therapy in 2019 and 2021. Associate professor of the department L.H.Amineva took an active part in the organization and holding of three Olympiads.

The main scientific areas of activity of the department:

1) features of diagnosis, clinical presentation and treatment of chronic kidney disease in diseases of internal organs (responsible executor - head of the department, Professor Mirsaeva G.H.). Health status of HFRS convalescents (responsible executors – Professor Fazlyeva R.M., Professor Mirsaeva G.Kh.);

2) the state of the hemostasis system in diseases of internal organs (responsible executors - Professor Fazlyeva R.M. , Professor Mirsaeva G.Kh.);

3) hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome: methods of prevention, early diagnosis, treatment of patients and rehabilitation of convalescents (responsible executors - Professor Fazlyeva R.M., Professor Galieva G.A.);

4) immunoinflammatory aspects of the pathogenesis of community-acquired pneumonia (CAP), modern methods for diagnosing lower respiratory tract infections, methods of immunocorrection for CAP (including pneumonia due to a new coronavirus infection) and COPD (responsible executor - Professor Mavzyutova G.A.).

Results of scientific research by department employees over the past 5 years from 2019 to 2023. presented in 42 scientific publications, 30 of them in Higher Attestation Commission journals, including 10 articles in the Scopus database . In 2019, a monograph was published on HFRS under the leadership of Pavlov V. N., Fazlyeva R. M. with the participation of 7 employees of the department

During the specified period of time, the results of scientific research were reported at 23 conferences of various levels - international, all-Russian, republican. So head. Department Professor Mirsaeva G.Kh. and members of the department - prof. Mavzyutova G.A., prof. Galieva G.A., associate professor Andrianova O.L. and others successfully delivered scientific reports on topical issues of therapy - nephrology, pulmonology, endocrinology, in 2020-21 on the problems of therapy for the New coronavirus infection (pneumonia with Covid -19).

The department has formed and successfully operates a scientific school “Hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome: epidemiology, development of means and methods of prevention, early diagnosis, treatment of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome”, the purpose of which is to study the health status and rehabilitation of convalescents of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome.

n 2023, assistant of the department Kireeva E.A. defended a candidate's dissertation in the specialty of pathological physiology on the topic “Study of the mechanisms of action of 3d-metal gluconates on a model of induced myeloma sp 2/0 ag 14 in balb / c mice .”It was found that under the influence of manganese, copper and zinc gluconates, there is an increase in the metabolic activity of neutrophils in the peripheral blood of BALB/c mice , which correlates with a decrease in the progression of induced myeloma Sp 2/0 Ag 14 .

The results obtained in the dissertation work can be used to continue research into the effects of 3 d metal compounds, as well as in the treatment and prophylactic therapy of neoplastic processes.

In 2022-2023 prof. Mavzyutova G.A., Prof. Mirsaeva G.Kh., assistants Ibragimova A.A., Zaitseva Yu, N. on the basis of City Clinical Hospital No. 5 participated in the implementation of the Life- Pulmo scientific project , dedicated to studying the state of the respiratory system in patients who have suffered from Covid-19 and assessing the effectiveness and safety of the use of the drug Longidaza in the treatment of pulmonary fibrosis in the post-Covid period. Currently, analysis of the research results and statistical data processing are being carried out.

Scientific circle

There is a scientific circle at the Faculty Therapy Department (https://vk.com/fak_therapy). Every year from 15 to 20 students actively take part in it. During the academic year, 6-7 meetings are held, according to the developed schedule, including jointly with the Council of People's Commissars of other departments of BSMU and SamSMU.

Since 2019, co-chairs of the circle: associate professor, candidate of medical sciences, Liliya Hanifovna Amineva, associate professor, candidate of medical sciences. Mironchuk Natalya Nikolaevna, since 2021, chairman of the student scientific circle of the department, associate professor, candidate of medical sciences, Liliya Hanifovna Amineva.

The main directions of work of the scientific circle correspond to the scientific directions of the department. Club members study in depth the functional state of the kidneys in various diseases of the internal organs, the features of clinical, functional and immunological disorders in diseases of the respiratory system, study the state of central and intracardiac hemodynamics in patients with coronary heart disease, arterial hypertension, chronic heart failure, etc.

Every year, students involved in the scientific circle take part in scientific and practical conferences, including the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Issues of Theoretical and Practical Medicine”. For 2016-2020 members of the scientific circle published 41 scientific papers.

Crucosterers take an active part in other intra- and inter-university events, including in fairs and exhibitions of scientific circles ”of the BSMU, various Olympiads and competitions, becoming its winners and prize-winners. The team of Kruzhkovites led by Amineva L.Kh. Successfully performed at the III and IV Volga Scientific and Practical Olympiad (2018. The victory in the nomination "Medical Blagod", 2019-3 prize places).

 In 2018, 2019 and 2021 members of the circle took an active part in organizing and conducting the intra-university Olympiad on faculty therapy, and in the 2018-2019 academic year - the international student scientific and educational teleconference “Topical Issues of Therapy 2019” together with the NJSC “Medical University of Karaganda” (there is a letter of gratitude).

During the 2021/22 academic year, 6 meetings of the Council of People’s Commissars were held, including 3 (500 points) with SamSMU.

During the 2022/23 academic year, 8 meetings were held, including SamSMU - 4, with other Council of People's Commissars of BSMU - 2 (730 points).
