Educational and methodological activities

The department provides training in the discipline "hospital therapy" for students of the 5th and 6th courses of the Faculty of Medicine, specialty "medical business" -31.05.01.

The material and technical base of the department for the implementation of the educational process:

The Department of Hospital Therapy No. 2 is located on two training bases – MBUZ GKB No. 18 and GBUZ of the Republic of Bashkortostan BSMP Ufa.

Professor's office: computer, TV, a set of thematic videos on the main sections of therapy, overhead, multimedia projector, multimedia atlases on the main sections of internal diseases, chairs, tables.

Study room No. 1: dynamometer, atlases on the main sections of internal diseases, hospital therapy computer, chairs, tables.

Study room No. 2: computer, multimedia atlases on the main sections of internal diseases, hospital therapy, ECG apparatus, a set of indicative ECG films with the most common pathological changes, a dummy for cardiopulmonary resuscitation, chairs, tables.

Study room No. 3: a microscope, a hemocoagulograph, a device for determining hemoglobin in the blood, a gastroduodenal probe and a set of test tubes, slides, a computer, multimedia atlases on the main sections of internal diseases, hospital therapy, a computer, chairs, tables.

Study room No. 4: atlases on the main sections of internal diseases, hospital therapy negatoscope, spirograph, chairs, tables.

Study room No. 5: atlases on the main sections of internal diseases, hospital therapy microscopes, chairs, tables.

The conference hall of MBUZ GCB No. 18 with an area of 120 m2 with 172 seats and the Microsoft teams program for online lectures are used for lectures. To conduct practical classes on therapy, 2 therapeutic departments of MBUZ GCB No. 18 for 60 and 60 beds are used; cardiology (including primary vascular center) for 60 beds; therapeutic, gastroenterological departments of GBUZ RB BSMP, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic units of both bases (biochemical, immunological, clinical, bacteriological laboratories, functional departments and instrumental diagnostics, etc.).

The total area for teaching, including the premises of the clinical base is 1680.1 sq.m.

Per student (with a maximum simultaneous load) is 15.6 m2.

Methodological security:

Methodological recommendations for 5th and 6th year students of the Faculty of Medicine studying in the specialty "medical business" (full-time and part-time training) are posted in the section of the website "educational portal".

Within the framework of academic mobility, the head of the Department of Hospital Therapy 2 Bakirov B.A. visited the West Kazakhstan State Medical University named after Marat Ospanov from 10.02 to 22.02.2020. At the invitation of the head of the Department of General Medical Practice No. 2, Associate Professor, Ph.D. Sartaeva Aigul Shynbergenovna, a course of lectures on diseases of the blood system and hematopoietic organs was read, practical classes were held. During the round table on the organization of clinical trials, joint research projects on therapeutic specialties were discussed. A decision was made on the further interaction of universities with the training of students of various courses on the basis of BSMU and the conduct of master classes by the staff of BSMU on the basis of M.Ospanov Medical University.

In 2020, the staff of the department developed a training cycle of 36 hours for doctors and residents: "New coronavirus infection COVID-19: diagnosis, treatment and prevention".

The staff of the department actively participated in conducting GIA for students of the 6th year of the Faculty of Medicine, primary accreditation of graduates of the Faculty of Medicine and residents in the specialty "Therapy".

We have successfully completed the unscheduled internship of residents of the 1st and 2nd years of training "Assistant to the district therapist", organized from 01.11.2020 to combat the new coronavirus infection COVID-19.
